Blue Gravity

Blue Gravity is a meditative and explorative song that journeys through a blue landscape - pulled by gravity and resisting it. 
The bandoneon breathes life into the visual score composer Mareike Dobewall created for the album B-Nature/ Concrete Energy. 


Listen for the meeting of the air in the bellow of the instrument and the breath of performer Mercedes Krapovickas, 
the endless expansion of one high-tone note that leads into a spectrum of interweaving tones 
and the way the voice and instrument unite in tone and breath.




The video, created by Mareike Dobewall, used the methods she applied for the making of the score to give a three-dimensional 
experience of the score and how it is a part of the world.
